Your Pharmacy Technician is: Emma Taylor

About Us

Pharmacy Technicians are registered healthcare professionals who work closely to support the Clinical Pharmacists and other members of the wider healthcare professional team.

We can help with:

  • Medication changes as per a hospital discharge letter or clinic letter
  • Medication reviews for newly registered patients
  • Setting up new blister packs with local pharmacies
  • Out of stock medication issues
  • Repeat dispensing queries
  • Blood pressure monitoring, BMI, weight and pulse recording
  • Advice on what your medication is for and how best to take it
  • Taking blood samples and ordering routine bloods
  • Repeat prescription requests
  • Medication adherence issues

Pharmacy Technicians are not prescribers and cannot sign off prescriptions but can request them as needed. Pharmacy Technicians cannot diagnose or review patients with long term conditions or acute illnesses (minor ailments).
